Miley Cyrus, one of the biggest celebrities on the planet right now. And she wasn’t even born until 1992, but Miley Cyrus celebrated her 17th birthday with an Eighties-themed rocker party two days ago.
Miley wore denim hotpants, knee high boots and a skimpy black top for her 17th, looking a world away from her clean-cut Hannah Montana image.
In fact she looked as if she were heading straight down the path Britney Spears took on the fast-track to shedding her clean image. After a huge party at Disneyland for her sweet 16th birthday last year, the ‘tween’ queen marked her 17th with a more intimate party.
The Hannah Montana babe was treated to a surprise party in New York last week ahead of her actual birthday on Monday. After her Wonder World Concert in Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, Miley headed on to the Canal Room nightclub in Manhattan where she was presented with a huge tiered birthday cake bearing her name and a group of long-haired rockers made of icing.
Of course, Miley’s parents were in attendant, along with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Miley was also treated to a special performance by the cast of Broadway musical Rock of Ages, which she visited with her parents recently.
