Confirmed: Miley Cyrus Cancels Omaha Concert

More news just in on the condition of Miley Cyrus while on her Wonder World Tour.

Earlier today we broke news that Miley could be getting ready to cancel her concert on Friday evening at the Qwest Center, Omaha Nebraska due to illness. Now its official, as a statement has been released by Disney and the team from the Miley Cyrus Tour.

On Miley Cyrus’ website, fans were told: “Due to illness, the Miley Cyrus concert this Friday, October 2nd 2009 at the Qwest Center has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 13th 2009.”

So its confirmed, only two weeks into her Wonder World Tour, Miley has been forced to reschedule a tour date due to her illness. Earlier this week while in Salt Lake City, Miley had to run off stage while performing 7 things just in time before she puked, so she has been feeling ill for a number of days now.

Update: I have just searched the internet for ‘Strep Throat’, which is what Miley has, and according to most sources, it will take 3-7 dates to cure, therefore there is every possibility that Miley Cyrus could cancel more concerts.
