miley-cyrus-cancels-kansas-omaha-concertsFurther news just in on the condition of Miley Cyrus after falling ill while on the Miley Cyrus Tour. It looks as though Miley Cyrus has cancelled more tour dates due to illness.

Yesterday, Disney issued a press release informing the public that the Miley Cyrus Concert in Omaha, Nebraska would be cancelled due to illness, but there’s since been another press release issued stating her concert in Kansas will also be cancelled and rescheduled.

All this follows the news that Miley Cyrus Ran Off Stage at a recent concert in Salt Lake City, and was forced to take a 15 minute medical break before she finished the rest of her set. Miley was admitted to hospital yesterday morning for a checkup, and was confirmed to have had ‘Strep Throat’, which is a viral throat infection which causes extreme pain.

The Hannah Montana babe is only two weeks into her Wonder World Tour, and does not feel happy with cancelling concerts, and is extremely sorry to her disappointed fans.

Both shows have been resheduled to take place on the following dates…

  • Miley Cyrus Concert in the Qwest Center, Omaha on October 2nd has been moved to October 13th 2009.
  • Miley Cyrus Concert in the Sprint Center, Kansas on October 3rd has been moved to October 17th 2009.

A message to fans from Miley Cyrus: “Dear Omaha, I am so sorry I can’t perform for you tomorrow. This is the first show I have ever missed. I will see you on Oct 13th =]

She obviously sent that tweet before it was confirmed the Kansas Concert was cancelled, so I’m sure the above message will also be directed at Kansas fans.
