Miley Cyrus gets a pig as a gift from PETA for her 20th birthday

According to Entertainment Wise, Miley Cyrus got a pig for her 20th birthday from PETA on Friday, November 23.

Tracy Reiman, PETA’s Executive Vice President in a statement said, “PETA knew that sponsoring a rescued pig was the perfect birthday present for a young woman who spends so much time encouraging others to help animals.”

“From promoting animal adoption to speaking up for cows who suffer on dairy farms, Miley never stops letting her millions of fans know what they can do to make the world a kinder place,” Reiman added.

Although, PETA gifted Nora, the pig to Cyrus, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer doesn’t have the animal actually. Instead the pig is dwelling happily at a sanctuary located in Florida, alongside her kind. To further spread the good work, the largest animal rights group set up an exclusive donation page in the name of the former Hannah Montana star to raise funds for charity foundations Starkey and Saving Spot.
