After Steven Tyler quit American Idol, Jennifer Lopez too followed him to the exit door. With only Randy Jackson left in the judging board, American Idol producers chose three potential candidates for the show’s next season.
Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and Adam Lambert are going to be the new judges, E! News reported. The producers chose the trio to replace Randy Jackson as well if he too would choose to leave.
Mariah would be the trio’s veteran with a career spanning decades, along with a bunch of chart topping hits. Meanwhile, Miley and Adam would bring fresh opinions as well as all that fun youth stuff to the show.
Mariah Carey being big name in the music industry, the “American Idol” executives are reportedly doing their best to get her on the board. But they are trying hard to get Miley Cyrus and Adam Lambert too.
Even after all these rumors, the three singers didn’t make any comments regarding the gossip to replace the former judges, but if Mariah, Miley and Adam did agree, the panel will be unusually altered with two females and a single male judge, unless Randy agrees to stay.
