Miley Cyrus releases her cover of Dolly Parton’s Classic hit, “Jolene”

Miley Cyrus released the video of her doing a cover of Dolly Parton, 1974 hit Classic, “Jolene” as part of her, “Backyard Sessions” last summer.

The “Backyard Sessions” is where Miley, 20, alongside her band play some of her favorite tracks.

Earlier, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer released some of her “Backyard Sessions” songs which includes the likes of “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go” by Bob Dylan, “Lilac Wine” by James Shelton and most recently, “Look What They’ve Done To My Song, Ma” by Melanie Safka.

The “Jolene” song has all made us more curious about Miley’s new upcoming album, which is being made by Hip-hop singer and music producer, Pharrell Williams.

Pharrell said that Miley’s new album is going to be something she hasn’t tried before.

Pharrell said in an MTV interview, “Her sound right now is her personality.”

“That’s what we’ve been aiming for in the studio and that’s what’s been coming out and that’s what’s been sounding so interesting. Her voice is a very powerful one –you just have to hear it to know that and to understand it. It’s nowhere near what it is that you think,” he added.
