Our very own megastar Miley Cyrus is set to star on VH1 Diva’s this evening. VH1 Diva’s is a brand which was dropped by VH1 several years ago, but was recently reborn, this year being the first time the show has aired in a very long time.
Miley Cyrus has set time aside from her current Wonder World Tour to perform alongside the likes of Jordin Sparks, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Adele and Leona Lewis.
Miley recently commented on the special concert by saying: “To be a diva, you have to pay your dues, but you don’t have to be older to have paid dues. I couldn’t care less about fashion in real life, but it’s a huge part of performance. So I’ll have a red carpet look, another look for my song and another look when i sing with Sheryl Crow.“
So looks like Miley Cyrus’ wardrobe department has their work cut out for them.
American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson said: “I love all these girls, and I think people will be excited to see us together. They won’t be trying to figure out who’s best.“
VH1 Diva’s is due to air tonight, Thursday September 17th 2009 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1.
