Miley Cyrus to star in Lifetime/History network’s ‘Bonnie & Clyde’, talks going on

Apparently, Miley Cyrus will be back on the small screen again.
The former Disney star, already appeared for the CBS’s sitcom, “Two and a Half Men” for two episodes.

Now, Cyrus is in talks to play the character Bonnie Parker, in Lifetime/History network’s mini-series, Bonnie & Clyde. The series is being produced by “Smash” Executive Producer’s Craig Zadan and Neil Meron and it will be the first project of its kind to be aired on both of AETN networks. Cyrus is reported to be meeting with the directors.

The move is formulated by Nancy Dubuc, the President of A&E networks entertainment and media, by betting bit on big and established names and titles. The strategy proved successful as Kevin Costner won an Emmy, earlier this week for playing the leading role in History’s highly rated mini-series Hatfield & McCoys in May.

This fall, Lifetime will air its new telepic based on the life of late Elizabeth Taylor, Liz & Dick starring another big name in showbiz, Lindsay Lohan.
