Miley Cyrus brought her Miley Cyrus Wonder World Tour to the Nationwide Arena, Columbus Ohio last night on October 7th 2009, and delivered a fantastic set.
I know we have said it before, but Miley Cyrus, who will be turning 17 next month has certainly done her best to distance herself from the wholesome, blonde-wigged Hannah Montana alter-ego with this tour.
Not only has she refused to sing any ‘Hannah Montana’ songs, but her choice of outfits has given the 16-year-old star a sexier image, wearing dresses with cut-away fronts revealing her sleek legs, push-up bra’s, tiny tutu’s and many more.
Miley Cyrus opened the show at the Nationwide Arena performing Breakout, where she broke-free from a neon-lit igloo. Later in the show, the star sat at a white grand piano to perform her new song, ‘When I Look At You’, while footage from her upcoming film, ‘The Last Song’ was projected onto the giant screens. There were also banners placed all around the arena promoting the Miley Cyrus Clothing Line, which is available exclusively at Wal-Mart.
The audience also loved the performances which saw Miley Cyrus Flying from a harness over the audience, while singing Fly on the Wall. She was also seen on a flying Motorcycle while performing a cover of Joan Jett’s classic, I Love Rock n Roll. Enjoy the pictures from the concert below…
