Miley Cyrus at Wells Fargo Arena, Des Moines 2009Miley Cyrus and her crew stopped off at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Lowa on October 9th 2009, where she performed to a sold-out 15,000 crowd.

I wasn’t at the concert personally, but having read a few reviews of this particular Miley Cyrus Concert, i can give you details on how the concert went for Miley, and her warm-up act, Metro Station.

Miley Cyrus sounded great, when you take into account she was running around the stage, thumping her feet, and swooshing her hair all over the place. At some points in the show, her voice sounded a little strained, which is understandable given the fact she had to cancel a string of concerts due to Strep Throat last week.

It seems that one of the reasons for Miley Cyrus‘ huge success, is the fact that her voice is so universal, which makes it very easy for everybody to sing along too. Not just the kids and teenagers. One thing all the reviews i read pointed out, was the fact that her outfits seemed a little too risque, bearing in mind you had kids as young as 4 or 5 at the concert.

She was, of course, backed by her five-piece band, who stay on the stage the entire evening, she also had around 10 backing dancers who tend to come on for certain songs, then disappear again. During costume changes, the two guitarists had a chance to show off, and do some riffs at the front of the stage. All-in-all, Miley Cyrus at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines was a fantastic night.
