Miley took her sold-out Miley Cyrus Tour to the EnergySolutions Arena on Tuesday night, and by the third song of Miley’s energetic routine, the audience realised Miley Cyrus was not feeling well.
She took to the stage to perform her smash-hit, 7 Things, which initially started out OK, but Cyrus walked off stage, leaving one of the backup singers to take over the lead vocals. The musicians, technicians and dancers all looked confused.
After the backup singers finished the track, Cyrus’ stage manager took to the stage to announce to the 20,000 strong crowd that Miley and the band would be taking a short break as a result of Miley having flu symptoms.
After a short break, Miley Cyrus went back to the stage on her Wonder World Tour, and finished the night off like a true professional.
Some of the audience was left disappointed though, as Miley refused to sing ‘Kicking and Screaming’, and ‘Wake Up America’, but she did soldier on and belted out flawless versions of Breakout, Start All Over, Obsessed, Spotlight and Party In The USA.
