Disney Princess Miley Cyrus has her next movie role all lined up, as she’s set to star in the remake of French film ‘LOL: Laughing Out Loud‘.
The 17-year-old actress has been cast in the movie and will appear alongside Demi Moore. The original film tells the story of a mother and daughter who are struggling to maintain their relationship following a marriage breakdown.
It’s the latest in a long-string of high-profile movies Miley Cyrus has landed which will help her move into mainstream media following her success as star in the Hannah Montana franchise, which is due to be cancelled later this year.

Although Miley Cyrus originally rose to fame from her acting on Hannah Montana, she has been concentrating more on her recording career over the last 18 months, and that became even more apparent when it was announced that Hannah Montana will be scrapped later this year after the series 4 goes out.

More and more people have noticed it over the last twelve months, and it especially became apparent on the Miley Cyrus Wonder World Tour that the young star is currently transitioning from the sweet and adorable Hannah Montana star, to a more mature performer, who now abuses sensuality on stage as part of her performance, appearing in VERY skimpy outfits.
In a new documentary by VH1 called ‘The New Virginity‘, they analyse Miley Cyrus’ transition from the Miley Cyrus X-Rated Pictures, to the now infamous Miley Cyrus Pole Dancing at the Kids Choice Awards.
Miley Cyrus is about to go into promotion overdrive as she tours Europe to start promoting her upcoming movie, The Last Song. The film, is of course the place where she originally met her co-star, Liam Hemsworth who is now officially Miley Cyrus’ Boyfriend.
Judging by the interview, it sounds like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had an amazing time filming the movie since they got to hang out on the beach, and splash about in the water in a lovely sunny climate. Miley doesn’t comment on her relationship with Hemsworth, but that’s to be expected. She is being paid by the production company to tour Europe promoting the film, NOT her relationship.
