Teen celebrity Miley Cyrus who owns a charity foundation called “Get your good on” has donated $500 towards a fund raising campaign to raise $5000 to help small Indian village to build a safe drinking water.
A group of local high school students organized a water walk campaign to promote the awareness of safe drinking water for the rural villages in India where people struggle to find safe drinking water within a thousand miles. The water walk was held at Leadbetter beach at santa Barbara. The group have already raised $4800 for this foundation.
