Apparently, Miley Cyrus is getting all personal in her new upcoming record.
Hip-hop artist and producer, Pharrell William said that her latest work is unexpected and powerful.
“Her sound right now is her personality,” Pharrell said to a MTV interview. “That’s what we’ve been aiming for in the studio and that’s what’s been coming out and that’s what’s been sounding so interesting. Her voice is a very powerful one —you just have to hear it to know that and to understand it. It’s nowhere near what it is that you think.”
Cyrus said, “A lot of the beats are produced hip-hop beats, but the vocal is very raw and my voice is kind of on top of all the tracks, which is what I wanted.”
Ever since, Cyrus, 20, announced the end of “Hannah Montana” in 2011, she has moving away from her clean-innocent Disney image and has being more daring both with music and style. Miley is now engaged with “The Hunger Games” actor, Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus new album is expected to be out in early 2013.
